Screening for Nutrition Risk

Malnutrition often goes unaddressed, despite its alarming prevalence, and as many as 50% of hospitalized patients are malnourished. 1 Adoption of validated screening tools for high risk populations may assist in early identification of nutrition risk and implementation of an appropriate nutrition intervention.
