Nestlé Nutrition Institute Clinical Nutrition Fellowship for Physicians

Eligibility Requirements

The Nestlé Nutrition Institute Clinical Nutrition Fellowship for Physicians is a non-CME medical education program developed for physicians who are medical or surgical subspecialty fellows and/or attendings and who are/were enrolled in an ACGME-accredited subspecialty fellowship, currently licensed or practicing in the United States.

Candidate Qualifications and Selection Process

Priority consideration for this prestigious fellowship will be given to candidates with a specialty focus in trauma, surgery, pulmonary critical care, gastroenterology, gastrointestinal surgery, endocrinology, anesthesia critical care and internal medicine. Candidates will demonstrate a high degree of interest in pursuing professional development in the areas of academic medicine and clinical nutrition. The award is restricted to those physicians who are licensed or currently practicing in the United States. Physician practitioners licensed to practice in the state of Minnesota are prohibited by the Minnesota Gift Ban statute (151.461) from receiving any gift of value from a manufacturer, thus, Nestlé sponsorship of this program for those individuals from MN is not allowed. Applicants from Vermont, Massachusetts and VA facilities must be approved by the Nestlé Healthcare Compliance Officer.

Potential candidates will submit an application describing their interest in participating in the Nestlé Nutrition Institute Clinical Nutrition Fellowship. The application must be accompanied by details on their current level of training, curriculum vitae and two letters of recommendation.
