Our Commitment to Caring for Our Healthcare Workers and Patients

As part of the critical force fighting COVID-19 on the frontlines, your organizations have seen first-hand the challenges and widespread impacts of this pandemic. Through our work at Nestlé Health Science, we understand the courage, compassion and dedication to excellence that this work demands. We are grateful and proud to work with partners like you that face these challenges head on each day.

Our ongoing commitment to you is to continue to provide the high-quality nutrition products you have come to know and expect from us. Our teams work diligently to continue to assure the safety and availability of these products through the evolution of this public health crisis. We appreciate the trust you place in us, and we are dedicated to earning it every day.

Below, I would like to share with you the actions we have taken and will continue to take to meet your needs and to assure the continued availability of the products your patients rely on.

  • PRODUCT SAFETY : The health and safety of our customers and their patients has always been, and remains, our top priority. As a Nestlé company, we conduct manufacturing and distribution operations with the highest levels of hygiene and cleanliness, to guarantee the quality and food safety standards that make Nestlé a global leader in nutrition.
  • PRODUCT STOCK & SUPPLY : Because we know our products play an important role in the care you provide to patients, we normally carry several months of product inventory. In response to COVID-19, we are running our factories at full capacity and building additional stock of our most critical and highest demand products. Our teams are working to assure continued production and delivery of products throughout this time, but at times you may experience a slight delay in our fulfillment or the transportation timing of the carriers. Please know that we are closely monitoring inbound orders and resourcing to make sure that any delays are minimized. We will continue to communicate closely and notify you of any anticipated delays.
  • PRODUCT ACCESS : We are continuing to work with our medical, retail and e-commerce partners to assure continued availability of our products. In order to maintain supply continuity, it is important that you keep your distributor partner apprised of current product usage (par levels), consider maintaining slightly higher inventory if you order direct, and consider consolidating your orders into fewer orders with less frequency to allow for greater efficiencies. We ask that you also work closely with your Nestlé Health Science relationship manager to assure that orders are placed and fulfilled in a safe and timely manner.
  • EMPLOYEE & COMMUNITY HEALTH : People are at the heart of our business. We continue to amend our normal work policies based on current recommendations to minimize the health risk to our employees, as well as your teams and facilities, and to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in our communities.
