  1. Explain the background behind the development of a new ICD-11 diagnostic code for malnutrition in adults in clinical contexts

  2. Appreciate the collaboration between ASPEN, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and the American Society of Nutrition in providing education and support for members regarding the new code

  3. Understand the process of the rollout of the new code in the US

  4. Explore changes in electronic medical records that may be useful to accommodate diagnosis-related billing with the new code
