Webinar description:
Cow’s milk allergy (CMA) is one of the most common food allergies worldwide.
The diagnosis remains a challenge due to overlapping symptoms with other common childhood illness, and both under and over diagnosis have negative consequences.
The Cow’s Milk related Symptom Score (CoMiSS™) was developed by the CoMiSS Expert Consensus Group in 2014, to increase the awareness of the symptoms of Cow’s Milk Allergy and therefore support a more accurate diagnosis. In 2025 the Experts launched a parent version of the tool called Pre-CoMiSS™. The objective of Pre-CoMiSS™ is to reassure and support parents to understand the symptoms their baby is experiencing that might be related to cow’s milk. It allows parents to record their baby’s symptoms and aims to support them in a more structured and informed discussion with their Healthcare Professional.
